Liftex 2007 saw an unprecedented growth with an almost 100% increase in exhibitor numbers from the previous show. This was in no small part due to the opening of the exhibition to the whole of the industry including overseas companies, creating a lively and all-inclusive event. Liftex 2010 promises to be even more successful; so this Exhibition Preview provides an opportunity for Exhibitors to tell prospective visitors what they are really about. The SPECIAL Preview will be posted to the Elevation readership in advance of the Exhibition; it will also be distributed from the Elevation stand to visitors to the show.

The development of the Drive System sector of the lift industry has probably been the most dynamic in recent years. This development has been fueled by the requirement to produce smaller machines that are suitable of MRL applications coupled with the requirement to make gearless machines more accessible to the independent sector of our industry. The process of designing and gathering components to form a complete lift is now rarely undertaken by the lift installer; the easier option is place a single order with a company for the supply of a complete Lift Package. This feature will offer suppliers of such packages with the opportunity to tell the industry how good they really are.
